Dear Friends,
Hello, we are Adam and Heather. We have been married for 12 years... it is a work in progress but, we are definitely lifers. We are excited to be adding another baby to our family through adoption. We have a son Keegan, who is grown and living on his own, and a daughter Sophia, who we were blessed to be placed with through adoption. We are excited to meet and get to know you.
We are so blessed to have our daughters' birth mom and her family. They are a great addition to our family. Our adoption is an open adoption. We think it is wonderful to be able to share with them and we all blend together really nicely. The things we have found that helps us with the openness of our adoption is to be respectful, honest and keep love in our hearts.
To place a child for adoption is a very selfless act especially to those who can not have children naturally. We know it takes a very special person to be a birth mom and we are honored to be able to be a part of their lives. We think they deserve respect and lots of love.
We are very family oriented. We love our families so much, it is important to us that we live close enough to be able to do things with them often. Adams family all live within about 45 minutes of us and Heather's family are all with in about 20 minutes. Her Gram, Aunt and Uncle both have houses on the same street as us.
