Dear Friends,
Hello, we are Adam and Heather. We have been married for 13 years… it is a work in progress but, we are definitely lifers. We are excited to be adding to our family through adoption. We have a son Keegan, who is grown, and living on his own, and a daughter Sophia, who we were blessed to be placed with through adoption. We are excited to meet and get to know you.
Our miracle starts with you. The choices you are facing are huge. Although we are sorry you are being faced with such challenging decisions. We are truly thankful that you are strong enough to face them with love in your heart, and let the spirit help you to know the right decision when you have found the family for your baby. We would like you to know, the gift you are so graciously giving it is truly a miracle to us. We offer you our sincere appreciation and thank you for choosing adoption.
To place a child for adoption is a very selfless act especially to those who can’t have children naturally. We know it takes a very special person to be a birth mom and we are honored to be able to be a part of their lives. Our adoption is an open adoption. We think it is wonderful to be able to share with our birth mom and her parents, they are a great part of our extended family.
It is important to us that we live close enough to our family to be able to do things with them often. Family is one of the most important aspects of our lives. We feel our greatest responsibility as parents is to ensure that our children know we love them unconditionally.
Adam and I met singing Karaoke. Although my eyes aren't brown, I am his “Brown Eyed Girl”(by Van Morrison). We are both very thankful that we have music in our lives it brings great joy to our whole family.
The children who join our family will be showered with love. We will give the child you are carrying an eternity of love, hugs, kisses, security, lots of laughs, bedtime stories and many, many wonderful memories.
An open adoption is important for children. We believe that children should know their story from the start. As we said before our miracle starts with you, and our children will know that. It is so important to us that our children know that it is not a lack of love that brought forth the decision of placement, it is the abundance of love which you have for them that made placement possible. That the love you have for them continues beyond just placement it is eternal. Without your love adoption would not be possible. You will always be a special part of their life and they will know of your love for them we promise you that. We wish you much love and peace in your journey in finding the family for your child.
