Thanksgiving's

This is how the Turkey must be looking when he thinks about Thanksgiving at our household.... LOL

His eyes say with all those meat options out there why choose me...

We took a trip to Salt Lake to spend Thanksgiving with our extended family there the week before Thanksgiving day and had a huge family dinner with all the fixings.
We had loads of fun hanging out and eating.
on the way to SLC
Gramps and Sophie at the new sports store there
the view on the way home.
Then we headed home and did Thanksgiving again with both sides of the family here at our house. It was a Blast. Adam got up early and put the turkey in the oven and then came back to bed. A little while later Sophie and I got up and went downstairs to start breakfast.
To our surprise Daddy was sick and couldn't finish the turkey or help out with the rest of the prep stuff we had procrastinated doing till the morning of... What a mistake procrastinating turned out to be for me this time. We all had fruit loops dry so they didn't create a terrible mess to add to all the things I already had to do. Good thing I have a little helper, and an Unk who came early with potatoes  and his peeler in hand. Sophia and Unk peeled tons of potatoes and snapped green beans for me. They were a great help.
People started arriving and then I had more help and less room. LOL It was great! I love that we could all get together and have a great meal even though all the stuff I wanted to get done just didn't happen before dinner and dinner started an hour late. I think that we did pretty good considering, and that Adam always cooks the turkey. I did pretty good and the turkey was wonderful!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving and I hope yours was as happy as mine, but a little less eventful!!!!!
