The Hunt...

Well it seems that my Hubby and his buddies came up empty handed.
Well at least for Elk.

They Hiked all over and saw sign of Elk, Bear, Deer, and Wolf. They herd wolves and they ran right by their camp.

They fished and no luck there either.

But they did have a lot of fun and they even pulled one over on Ryan while they were camping.

It seems Paul had pad envy. The pad went from about 1" which was Paul's pad then came Adam's pad at 1 1/2". Ryan's pad was 3" plus. So while Adam and Paul were out hiking the first day they found a golf ball while Ryan was back at camp sleeping. When Adam and Paul got back to camp Paul was putting their stuff in the tent when he notice the golf ball laying between Adam and Ryan's sleeping pads. Paul looked at his brothers nice thick comfortable pad and then with a smile lifted Ryan's pad up and watched the ball roll under Ryan's pad. With a devious smile on his face he then laid Ryan's pad back down.
That night was a rough one for Ryan he knew the ground was rocky but this was ridiculous but being that he just finished a 15 mile hike up and down the mountains he was two exhausted to figure out the source of his pain. The next morning Ryan arose as soar and uncomfortable as the rest of us only he had much worse lower back pain. Mumbling under his breath he stepped out of the tent to stretch out his back. Adam looked at Paul who was silently laughing as hard as he could. What Adam asked. Paul reached over and lifted Ryan's pad up still laughing with tears in his eye's. Adam began to laugh as Paul quickly put his finger to his lips shhhh, don't let him know Paul whispered as he keeps trying to pop his neck back in place. Serves him
right for bragging about how comfortable he is. Paul said.
For the rest of the day every time Ryan complained about how messed up his back was Paul would fall to the back of the line look at Adam and silently but hysterically laugh with a confirming look of ha ha got him good. Later on that evening while everyone was siting in the tent eating Ryan plops down on his pad to eat with an uncomfortable surprise. Ow that rock has gotta go Ryan yells with this look of disdain on his face. He lifts up his pad only to see a bright white golf ball the last thing you would expect to see in a high mountain elk camp. Ryan's eyes narrowed and darted back and forth between Adam and Paul whom where both rolling all over the floor holding there sides and laughing uncontrollably. Ryan looks right at Adam and says why, as he throws the ball at him. Adam ducts yelling it wasn't me, it wasn't me. Ryan yells Paul wouldn't do something like this. This makes Paul laugh even harder to the point of not even being able to breath and gives him great satisfaction knowing he successfully got Ryan and was able to misplace the blame on Adam. All in all it was a great time and the plotting has all ready begun for next year.
