Grammy, Sophia and Heather at the Western Idaho Fair.
A girl showing her cow and one getting her sheep ready to show.
We watched the dogs catch frisbees. The man had several dogs that he had trained. It was really cool to watch. Sophia Mom and I loved it. Sophia squilled with joy when the dogs would go after the frisbees.
We had lots of good stuff to eat... there was corn on the cobb, pronto pups, chocolate covered mini doughnuts, and even some cotton candy.... (Pink of course...) oh and we had these awesome potatoes. They were a cross between a french fry and potato chip. They came in this huge mound and they were all curly and fluffy and mostly hocked together. And we added ketchup. ;)
In one area they had these balls that they put the kids in and filled them with air. then the kids walked in the ball (like a hampster in one of those floor balls) up a ramp where they then pushed them into the water. then the kids played in them on the water for a long time. It looked fun.
Sophia got this light ball thing that spins and plays music.
Grammy got this headband that lights up it reminds me of Sailor moon hair...
Some of the rides before dark...
the carnival at night.
Too bad we missed the Caldwell fair, it seems they had close to 100 competitors young and old came out to catch pigs in a muddy arena at the annual Hogs-N-Mud Wrestling competition. Looks like bath time.
